Why Horses? are a five-piece collective who channel the rhythm of dance-punk and the romance of art-rock into something both honest and completely their own. They’re loud, weird, and a lot of the time quite wired. Formed by long-time collaborators Gabriel Austin Lester (guitar/vocals), Les Davies (bass), and Joel Hadi Checri (percussion), and expanded with William Dadswell (violin) and Dilibe Aneke (guitar), the band emerged from late-night Cardiff rehearsals into something stranger and more cinematic than they first imagined.
